Movie in the park

My family and I are at Smales Park in Takapun getting ready for Finding Nemo. It's really hot and it's raining all over my face!

Double Yolker

It's a paradox!

Morning Run

Gym was closed, so I decided to come down to the Panmure Basin to go for a run... 'WHAT WAS I THINKING' Seriously! Nice place to come and hang out with God though ☺

NZ Deadpool Premiere

I was fortunate enough (thank you to my wife) to get tickets to the New Zealand premier of Deadpool at Sylvia Park's Hoyt's Cinema. As Bronson and I rode the escalator to the top we could see the line along red carpet, it was backed up. Curious to see why the long line, I walked towards the front to see a man in a Deadpool costume taking photos. Ten or so minutes later we got to the front to take our photo, above is the result. I'm always keen to take the opportunity to have a photo with a Superhero. Pizza and drink were circulating the lobby area as we waited for the movie to begin, then it hit me, POPCORN AND CHOCOLATE. We had to head back, against the grain of the crowed, and wait in a long cue. Armed with popcorn and chocolate, we made our way into the theater to find that the only seats left were the front row. It wasn't too bad. The lights dimed, the screen lights up with film and we sit back and relax. I highly enjoyed the movie, and think Ryan Reynold's quick wit and sense of humor engaged the audience.

NRL Nines

Hi everyone. Was fortunate enough to be invited to the NRL Nines by my brother in law (Adamo), thanks bro. The atmosphere was buzzing, lots of noise and crazy costumes. The Warriors first game was against the Bulldogs. Down at half time 8-0 the guys managed to come out and run over the Doggies 34-8. After a bit of down-time watching other games the Warriors next match up was against the Sea Eagles, This was a tight one, I was ultra nervous. With a charging run, Konrad Hurell's knee got the edge of a Sea Eagles chin, knocking him out cold. Showing top sportsmanship, Konnie was consistently checking in on the guy on the floor while the medic staff tried to support his head and neck. This was not going to be our game though, going down in a close game 15-12. Hope tomorrow is a better day, Good Luck WARRIORS!!!
