We've spent our first day in Milan, more so that we can sleep. It's a beautiful place. The Duomo here is the biggest churn in Italy. Its beautiful intricacies make it very stunning and makes me wonder how it was made all those years ago. The square was packed with people people eating, taking photos and Senagelese men selling goods from their homeland. I'm told not to let them put any of their wrist bands on me or else they'll pester me for money. Using Giacomo, they managed to get them on us but with a straight face and a stern voice I tell them to get lost. The pizza was to die for...very simple but like no other. There was an exhibition dedicated to Leanardo Da Vinci, one of the greatest minds ever to walk. It amazes me how his thinking, for someone from the 15th century was so advanced. His designs for flight machines and robots are so detailed and so advanced for his time. We got back to our hotel at 5pm and slept right through to 8.30am, we were knackered to the point of fainting. I'm in awe here, just a little bit cautious as we were almost mugged on the bus. A ladies hand was in Lisa's bag. Luckily she felt it. Now we're fuelled with some kai off to Geova we go :) Here is a photo of us eating breakfast.
